I met George in the late 1950's in Ocean City, Maryland. Two other friends and I gave George a ride to his family home in the Roland Park section of Baltimore. Being very late at night he invited us to stay over and enjoy the evening. His piano interpretations were masterful and we could have listened all evening. He also introduced me to the Hi-Lo's albums that evening and I have been a fan ever since. The next day we drove him to BWI airport to return to active military duty. Just found this web site and needed to say 'Hi' to George.
