The Scully 288 professional series is new... with a new, Scully quality, tape transport. Designed specifically for smooth handling of wide tape, the 288 offers the best advantages and features of the famed 280 series combined with the latest electronics and transport design improvements.


Renowned Scully record/reproduce electronics with improved performance through exclusive transient reduction. Scully patented Linearity circuit provides lowest distortion. Scully plug-in cards designed for maximum service efficiency.

Another in the series of precision tape handling devices, custom designed by Scully. All of the famed and field proven engineering precision that goes into Scully lathes has been incorporated in the new, rugged 288 transport.
