Audio Designs and Mfg. - later known as ADM Technology was an early pioneer in Recording, Broadcast and Film production consoles.


Starting in the mid 1960s in Detroit by Robert A. Bloom with first customers in the Detroit market. Early NYC studios included Robert A. Fine Recording - Engineer for Mercury recording. A first 24 track recording console shipped to Techiku Japan in the mid 1970s. Later customers included The Grand Ole Opry, Muscle Shoals, Pampa Recording, Producers Color, The VOA, Radio Free Europe and countless global radio and television stations.

I was employed by ADM from 1977 through 1983, with a bit of a sabbatical at Harris Broadcast Products and later contract work.

The designs were way ahead of their time - early automation and computer control. Perhaps too far ahead of our time.
