wow, I have never seen this machine and was expecting the 'Ampex' deck that was made by Teac - I believe it was the ATR-700.

Hi Eddie,

Yes, the ATR-700 was built by Teac/Tascam circa 1977. In regards to the ATR-800, it appears to be one heck of a deck. I am going to continue my research, on this deck, and post my findings.
