I had the pleasure of attending Bob during his waning years and before he went back to Tennessee. We would usually meet at the end of my day in my Medical Clinic. He was always certain of what he was willing to do with his life. We spent most of our time together hearing about his wonderful stories about his musical friends. I never understood his talents very well until after he moved and subsequently passed. He was an original who really deeply cared deeply about his friends, their music and their artistic talents. He wanted all of them to be able to gain from their creative intelligence. Thank you Bob for your heartfelt and wonderful stories and taking the time to tell them to me. Although we didn't spend much time together I do cherish those moments.
