Soul Ain't Nothin' But The Blues NEW
by: Chris Radcliffe

Hey Doug,

I had the pleasure to interview your father about his work with my father, Jimmy Radcliffe, many years ago. Bert was a true gentleman and Super talent.

I hope his music brings you the kind of joy it has given us his fans for so, so long.

God bless him and you my man.

Musical Genius NEW
by: Mary Seymour Williams

Bert Decoteaux, one of music industry most brilliant music professionals. My Late husband Ken Williams was one of the writers of "Everybody Plays the Fool "Sometimes." During Ken 60 years career he worked with Bert on music projects that have become a prolific addition to the history of R&B music.
I remember Bert as a mild mannered musical genius.

Great Father!
by: Tony H.

I knew Mr. Decoteaux as a wonderful father to his daughter "A". as one of her high school friends, I had a chance to visit their home often and he was such a kind and hospitable person to me and my friends (A and I hung in groups with a few others from Tech and her school). Hoping A is doing well.

We loved the music he produced but at that time had no idea that he was the producer! Only later in life did I discover that I had walked in the presence of greatness.

Hello from Patrick "Supernatural Thing" Grant
by: Haras Fyre

Hello Doug Decoteaux.

I wrote "Supernatural Thing" and met you sometime around 1975 (if my memory serves me correctly). I had a great time with your father and I wonder what you are doing outside of managing "Geldoug."

Best regards from Switzerland from Haras Fare (pen name: "Pat Grant")

Bert 'Superchatrs' Decoteaux
by: E.R.

Dear Sir,
I have been listening to The Main Ingredient a lot lately. The production/arranging of Bert Decoteaux on these recordings is simply stupendous. His use and understanding of european-style orchestration is superb. I dug a little deeper into the work behind the Main Ingredient recordings and discovered the extensive production work done by your father. Many more of my favorite records were done by him; Marlene Shaw, B.B. King, Ben E. King, The Manhattans, etc. I am so glad to have learned about him.

Along with Michael J. Powell, Don Davis, Bobby Martin, Thom Bell and a few others, he is one of the best record producers/arrangers ever. I would love to learn even more about him. Thank you so much for the opportunity to express myself about your father's work, God bless you and best of luck..

Long live Supercharts
E.R.
