Glen and I were high school friends back in Elmont Memorial High School in the late 1950’s. We would go out on Saturday or Sunday and look at “Hi-Fi” sets and listen to the latest hits. “stereo” was the newest rage in those days.


We had many happy memories as teenagers admiring stereo equipment. Names like Marrantz, Rec-O-Cut, McIntosh, Fischer, Jensen, just to name a few.
I remember driving into Queens New York to pick up Glen’s old Pontiac convertible on a cold snowy winter’s day.

Good times indeed.
